Winter 2022 Men Survivor Support Group

February 10–March 31, 2022   Thursday evenings, 6:15–7:45 p.m.

The men survivor support group welcomes transgender men, cisgender men, and genderqueer and gender-nonconforming people ages 18 years of age or older. This is a virtual group that will run for eight weeks and will be offered through a secure video link.

This group provides its members with a forum to discuss the impact of sexual violence on their lives and their relationships. It also explores useful ways to cope with common challenges faced by all survivors of sexual violence. Topics of weekly worksheets include the impacts of sexual violence, safety, coping, self-care, guilt/shame/self-blame, trust, anger, relationships, and taking meaning from your experience.

For more information, for intake, or to request accommodations, please contact Claire Geruson, LICSW, at 617-649-1278.

Our mission is to end sexual violence. We empower survivors of sexual violence to heal and provide education and advocacy for social change to prevent sexual violence.
