Supporting Survivors in a Time of “Social” Distancing

En Español
Thursday, December 10, 2020   3:00–4:30 p.m. ET.

In this webinar, we will reframe the idea of “social” distancing and highlight the importance of connection. By the end of the training, participants will better understand how a survivor’s experience in this moment connects to ongoing trauma and will have more tools for support and self-care.

This training is for anyone who has a survivor of sexual violence in their life (such as a loved one, coworker, patient, client, etc.) who they want to support during this pandemic.

Presenters

  • Sharon Imperato, Project Director of Clinical Training and Technical Assistance (all sessions)
  • Megan Mulcahy, Volunteer Services Manager
Our mission is to end sexual violence. We empower survivors of sexual violence to heal and provide education and advocacy for social change to prevent sexual violence.
