Please fill out our short application below. It takes most volunteers 15 minutes or less to complete, and a BARCC team member will be in touch with you soon. We schedule interviews one month before trainings begin. Items marked with a red star are required; all other items are optional.

Please note, you must be able to attend all sessions of a particular 40-hour rape crisis counselor training to be considered for that training session. BARCC requires a nine month minimum commitment for volunteers, starting immediately after training. Please consider your plans for the coming year (e.g., applying to school, moving, etc.).

Each program requires volunteers to:

Attend two monthly meetings for ongoing training, support and supervision, held in the evenings with both virtual and in person options.
Sign up for at minimum, one weekly shift, between 3-8 hours long. Volunteers with weekday daytime, weekend, and overnight availability are given preference!
