What to expect:
If you weren’t able to make the other sessions, that’s totally fine. This is an open-door information session for survivors. You won’t be sitting in a long lecture—you’ll be actively participating in engaging activities. You won’t be asked to share everything that’s happened to you—you’ll be guided to focus on a specific topic. The best part is, you won’t be alone—you’ll join a community that’s dedicated to your healing and empowerment.
What to bring:
Just yourself! Handouts and note-taking materials will be provided. If you like, please feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage to stay hydrated.
In this workshop, we will focus on examining how sexual violence impacts our sense of trust and boundaries. We’ll talk about disclosure and help you develop a sense of ownership of your story, we’ll do an activity to help define your boundaries, and talk about ways to build trust after trauma. Survivors of all gender identities and presentations are welcome.
Registration is optional. Questions? Call Danielle at 617-649-1284.
