Barcc updates
At BARCC, we are proud to support and stand with LGBTQ+ individuals, and we remain committed to our mission: to support all survivors of sexual violence—no matter their gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.
This year’s Walk for Change was more than just a walk – it was a living display of community, resilience, and action. Among the powerful visuals at the event was the BARCC Clothesline Project (CLP), a moving tribute featuring 200 hand-decorated shirts created by survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising public awareness about sexual violence, supporting survivors, and fostering a culture of consent and prevention.
Together, we can end sexual violence.
This project was (partially) supported by MOVA through state investments, and/or a Victims of Crime Act of 1984 (VOCA) grant from the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, and/or the Human Trafficking and Drunk Driving Trust Funds.
