Short Response Questions

We understand that a lot of teens come to the YLC from their own experiences. Some youth are survivors of sexual violence themselves, some have people they care about who are survivors, and some apply to the YLC for the opportunity to be activists for social justice and to help their communities. Please answer the following questions and know that you do not need to share any personal experience of sexual violence.

At BARCC and with the YLC we have open and honest conversations about sexual violence and its impacts on various communities. These conversations can sometimes be heavy.

Weekly Meets

During the 2024–2025 school year, the YLC will meet for two hours weekly (day/time to be determined), with some occasional training and engagement opportunities.
(extracurricular activities, sports teams, work, etc.)
For this cycle, the YLC will meet either Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday between the hours of 5pm and 8pm.

Expectations and Agreements
