BARCC Support Group for Partners, Friends, and Family Members of Survivors of Sexual Violence

September 29–November 10, 2021   Wednesday evenings, 6:15–7:45 p.m.  

This group provides a safe and supportive space for partners, friends, loved ones, and family of survivors of sexual violence. The group focuses on understanding the impacts of sexual trauma on the survivor, on themselves as significant others, and their relationships with the survivor. It also provides useful ways to cope with common challenges faced by significant others and helpful ways to provide support to survivors.

  • Members: significant others, ages 18 and older, including intimate partners, family, and friends of survivors
  • Number of sessions: seven
  • Requirement: intake, participants must be non-offenders 

This support group will be offered through a secure video link.

Our mission is to end sexual violence. We empower survivors of sexual violence to heal and provide education and advocacy for social change to prevent sexual violence.
