ISSP Volunteer Coordinator

Positon Overview

The Incarcerated Survivor Support Program (ISSP) Volunteer Coordinator is broadly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the program’s 12-hour per day crisis hotline for incarcerated survivors of sexual violence. They oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and onboarding of volunteers; management of the current volunteer pool of roughly 20; and ensure that volunteers are prepared to offer high-quality support services to incarcerated survivors who contact the hotline. This position also has some limited additional responsibilities to assist other aspects of ISSP’s supportive work, including occasional in-facility meetings or trainings.
