Op-Ed: Rampant and Routine Harassment: On #MeToo and Music Festivals

BARCC Executive Director Gina Scaramella wrote an op-ed in DigBoston recently to discuss sexual harassment and assault at music festivals and concerts and what concert organizers and audience members can do to stop sexual violence in the music scene. The op-ed came in response to a Teen Vogue report on consistent sexual assault and harassment at Coachella.

Excerpt: "Festival organizers committed to preventing and responding to sexual violence must be proactive and treat sexual assault prevention as an essential part of their responsibility for holding an event that is not only fun, but safe for guests and staff alike."
