Media: Rape Crisis Center Says Wynn Boston Harbor Shouldn’t Keep Casino Mogul’s Name

Following Steve Wynn's resignation in light of reports of decades of sexual violence, MassLive detailed BARCC's call to keep Wynn's name off the future casino currently under construction in Everett. In a statement, BARCC Executive Director Gina Scaramella called for community accountability and leadership in the face of these reports. 

Excerpt: "'We must do this because our community and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts should not get stuck with a monument to a man forced out of his job due to multiple allegations of sexual assault, and whose name now joins those of other high-profile offenders of sexual violence, including Harvey Weinstein and Larry Nassar,' she said in a statement, referring to the former movie mogul and former USA Gymnastics team doctor."
