Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman came forward this month to say that Larry Nassar, a former U.S. women's gymnastics team doctor, sexually abused her. BARCC Advocacy and Legislative Affairs Manager Katia Santiago-Taylor spoke with WBZ News to give context to Raisman's bravery.

Excerpt: “It was important for her to be able to say, ‘This happened to me and it needs to stop,’ and hopefully others will feel comfortable from her message. They’ll feel empowered.”
